Contemporary Walnut and Marble U-Shaped Kitchen Scene

This contemporary U-shaped kitchen scene for SketchUp features walnut-finish joinery paired with white marble surfaces. This U-shaped kitchen layout combines dark walnut-toned cabinetry with white marble-effect countertops and splashbacks. The design incorporates a mix of closed storage with clean, handleless upper cabinets and open shelving sections for visual interest. Flanking the main workspace are full-height units, with one side featuring a vertical timber-slatted cladding detail that adds texture to the composition. The layout includes integrated appliances, a cooktop, and a sleek, minimalist aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors. Every element is organised to create a functional, balanced workflow within a compact footprint.

The download is a 64.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for easy adjustment of cabinet layouts or material swaps. Users should ensure the model origin is set correctly before placing it into a larger floor plan. For high-quality visualisations, apply appropriate reflection maps to the marble surfaces and ensure the lighting setup reflects the desired ambient mood. The model is scaled to standard unit heights, making it straightforward to integrate into existing architectural models without extensive resizing.

Ideal for residential kitchen design projects, this model serves as a foundation for both concept development and final presentation work. Architects and interior designers can utilise this layout in mid-to-high-end apartment or house refurbishments where a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic is required. It pairs well with minimalist hardware and integrated lighting solutions.
