Contemporary Walnut and Concrete Open-Plan Kitchen Scene

This contemporary open-plan kitchen scene for SketchUp features integrated walnut cabinetry and a concrete island with living area. This comprehensive interior scene captures a modern open-plan living space anchored by a linear kitchen and integrated dining island. The kitchen cabinetry is finished in a rich walnut veneer, contrasted by grey concrete countertops and splashbacks. An island with a cantilevered dining surface provides a transition between the food preparation area and the adjacent lounge. The kitchen includes integrated appliances and upper cabinetry with glass-fronted doors. Natural textures are balanced by a dark metal ceiling grid adorned with hanging vegetation and woven pendant lights, creating a cohesive, layered aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors.

The download is a 204 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this scene directly into SketchUp to evaluate spatial layouts or as a foundation for interior visualisations. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for the isolation of the kitchen unit, furniture, or lighting elements. Designers should manage file size by toggling visibility of heavy geometry like the hanging plants and complex light fixtures. Material assignments are ready for refinement using standard SketchUp materials or third-party render plugins, ensuring consistent mapping across the walnut surfaces and concrete textures.
