About this asset

This modern 3ds Max wall panelling set features grey flat panels, vertical timber slats, and a minimal circular wall clock. This decorative wall system comprises a series of vertical panels designed to create a contemporary feature wall. The composition includes wide, smooth-surfaced grey panels interspersed with sections of vertical timber slats, providing visual rhythm and texture. A slender, circular wall clock is mounted directly onto the central panel, featuring a delicate frame and dark hands with a contrasting central hub. The design balances flat, clean surfaces with rhythmic, linear detailing, making it a sophisticated choice for architectural interiors. The overall assembly is finished in a neutral grey palette with warm timber accents.

The download is a 24.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working with this 3ds Max asset, users should ensure the panel system is aligned correctly with the host wall geometry. The model is typically organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy adjustment of materials or the isolation of the clock element. Applying a subtle bump map to the slatted sections will enhance the perceived depth of the timber elements during rendering. Ensure the unit is scaled accurately within the scene to maintain the correct proportions relative to standard ceiling heights and furniture.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office feature walls, this panel system creates a focal point in any contemporary space. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, low-profile sofas, and ambient cove lighting. Architects and interior designers often search for feature wall panelling, slatted wood cladding, or decorative wall systems to add character to large, empty surfaces. This asset is suitable for high-end interior visualisations where a refined, structured aesthetic is required to define a specific zone.
