About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped kitchen scene for SketchUp features a sleek monochrome palette, integrated appliances, and a marble-clad island. This L-shaped kitchen assembly presents a minimalist aesthetic defined by a high-contrast black and white colour scheme. The lower cabinetry and island base are finished in a matte black, while the overhead cupboards are crisp white, creating a clean visual break. A striking grey marble with prominent white veining serves as the backsplash and covers the waterfall-edge island. The layout includes a tall integrated pantry unit housing a side-by-side refrigerator, alongside a dedicated cooking zone with an induction hob and a sleek extractor hood. The design emphasises clean lines and handleless, flat-panel doors throughout.

The download is a 16.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp model by importing it as a component into your primary project file. The geometry is organised by layers, allowing for the easy isolation of the island, cabinetry, or appliances for customisation. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp textures; these can be swapped or scaled within the material editor to match specific project requirements. Ensure the model is correctly aligned with your floor plan using the base of the cabinetry as the primary snap point for accurate placement within the room.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this kitchen layout suits modern apartments, townhouses, and open-plan living spaces where a high-end, uncluttered look is required. It serves as a base for custom kitchen design studies or as a backdrop for architectural visualisations. Professionals can pair this with various dining sets or bar stools to complete the space. Search for this model when planning high-contrast contemporary kitchen renovations or when needing a quick, realistic kitchen assembly for early-stage design proposals or client presentation renders.
