About this asset

A contemporary straight kitchen unit for SketchUp, featuring light wood cabinetry with textured rattan-style door inserts. This linear kitchen assembly combines functional storage with a refined, tactile aesthetic. The design includes base cabinets with clean, vertical wood grain and upper wall units featuring intricate rattan-mesh door panels. A dedicated tall housing unit integrates built-in appliances, while an open shelving section provides display space for decor. The workspace includes a matte black sink faucet and a patterned backsplash, creating a balanced contrast against the light timber tones. The composition is complete with integrated kitchenware and small appliances, offering a cohesive look for modern residential interiors.

The download is a 52.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a single assembly for easy placement against a wall. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to their floor plan before applying custom materials or adjusting the layout. Components are grouped logically, allowing for individual modification of the cabinetry or appliance placement. For high-quality visualisations, apply appropriate textures to the wood and rattan surfaces and adjust the lighting to highlight the depth of the mesh door details.

Ideal for residential kitchen designs, this unit suits open-plan living areas or compact apartments where aesthetic detail is prioritised. It integrates well with minimalist or Japandi-inspired interior schemes. Architects and interior designers can specify this for mid-to-high-end residential projects, pairing it with stone countertops or pendant lighting to enhance the natural textures. It is a versatile asset for kitchen planning, interior staging, and concept development, providing a realistic base for detailed joinery schedules and client presentations.
