About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for 3ds Max features a sleek beige fabric sofa, a glass coffee table, and custom joinery. Designed for a sophisticated open-plan layout, this interior scene centres on a plush, three-seater beige fabric sofa accented with textured cushions. The coffee table features a minimalist glass top supported by reflective metallic gold bases that catch the ambient light. Adjacent to the seating, a floor-to-ceiling illuminated display cabinet with gold framing provides high-end storage, while a custom window seat offers additional lounging space. The backdrop combines vertical wall panelling with dark marble accents and a striking abstract artwork, creating a balanced, layered aesthetic that feels both curated and comfortable for modern living.

The download is a 1272 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can utilise this scene by merging the file into existing 3ds Max projects to establish a high-quality base for architectural visualisation. The assets are organised by layer, allowing for easy selection, scaling, or substitution of individual furniture pieces. Users should verify the light setup and exposure settings upon import to ensure consistency with their own project environment. Applying custom HDRI maps to the environment slot will further enhance the realism of the metallic reflections and the soft, diffused interior lighting.

It works well in projects requiring a refined, high-end look, pairing seamlessly with contemporary interior styles. Designers can search for this asset when needing a complete, ready-to-render living area that includes integrated storage and social seating. It is particularly effective for presenting open-plan layouts where the living room must harmonise visually with an adjacent kitchen or dining space.
