Contemporary Grey Stone and Wood Kitchen Island with Attached Dining Table

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island set features a grey stone countertop, dark wood cabinetry, and an integrated dining table. This kitchen island assembly combines functional preparation space with an attached low-profile dining table. The main unit features a heavy grey stone countertop with a deep-set black sink and matching faucet, supported by dark wood-clad cabinetry. A cantilevered dark wood table extends from the side, providing a seamless transition between cooking and dining surfaces. Four upholstered dining chairs with curved backrests and leather-like upholstery accompany the set, finished in a warm brown tone. The composition is clean and linear, focusing on the contrast between the cool, textured stone and the rich, dark timber finishes throughout the structure.

The download is a 37.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the island cabinetry, stone top, dining table, and seating. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure the island aligns with standard kitchen floor heights. Materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted to suit custom project lighting setups. The set is ideal for populating open-plan interiors where the island serves as a central social hub, requiring careful placement to maintain clear circulation paths around the seating.
