Contemporary Grey Kitchen Unit with Marble Island

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen unit features a grey L-shaped cabinetry assembly paired with a stone-clad island and wood breakfast bar. This L-shaped kitchen assembly is defined by its clean, minimalist aesthetic and sophisticated material palette. The main cabinetry is finished in a muted grey tone with flat-panel doors, integrating a built-in oven and microwave stack. The worktop and backsplash are rendered in a light-toned, textured stone, providing a subtle contrast to the cabinetry. A freestanding island serves as the focal point, featuring a thick stone top and base, seamlessly extended by a dark-stained timber breakfast bar. The combination of solid stone surfaces and warm wood accents creates a balanced, functional workspace for modern interior layouts.

The download is a 70.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cabinetry, island, and integrated appliances. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure alignment with project floor-to-ceiling heights. Materials are applied using standard mapping coordinates, allowing for straightforward adjustments to the stone and wood textures. Lighting can be managed by isolating the island or cabinetry groups to apply specific emissive materials or to integrate scene-specific HDRI environments for realistic reflections on the stone and metallic appliance surfaces.
