Contemporary Grey Velvet Tufted Bench with Throw

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey velvet tufted bench accented with a draped brown throw for added visual texture. The bench is defined by its clean, rectangular form and button-tufted seat, which provides a classic tactile element to the contemporary design. Upholstered in a soft-touch grey velvet, the piece sits upon slender, minimalist metal legs that offer a subtle contrast to the plush seating surface. A draped, folded velvet throw in a rich brown hue is included, resting casually across the seat to create a lived-in aesthetic. The overall proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for various interior settings where both comfort and sophisticated detailing are required.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the bench and the throw as separate entities. Users can apply custom fabric shaders to the velvet components or adjust the metal finish on the legs via the material editor. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient placement within a scene. Scaling should be performed at the object level to maintain the integrity of the tufting detail and the drape of the included fabric.

This bench is well-suited for high-end residential projects, particularly at the foot of a bed in a master suite or as a refined accent in a dressing area. It also functions effectively in luxury hotel lobbies or boutique retail environments as a waiting seat. Designers often search for tufted benches or upholstered ottomans to introduce texture into contemporary schemes. It pairs seamlessly with modern bedroom furniture or as a standalone piece in a minimalist walk-in wardrobe, providing both seating and visual interest.
