About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island features a sleek black stone waterfall countertop paired with two matching bar stools. This kitchen island set comprises a long, rectangular unit finished in a dark, textured stone material with a distinct waterfall edge design. The base incorporates a natural wood paneling detail, providing a warm contrast to the monolithic dark stone top. Included are two minimalist bar stools, each featuring slender black metal frames, light-toned wood backrests, and upholstered grey fabric seats. The composition is rounded out by decorative accessories, including a ceramic vase with dried botanical stems and a small bowl, creating a functional and curated look for a modern kitchen environment.

The download is a 138 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers allowing for independent adjustment of the island and stools. The stone and wood materials are mapped with appropriate texture coordinates, ready for customisation. Users should verify the scale against their scene units upon insertion. The asset is well-suited for interior visualisations, where lighting can be adjusted to highlight the reflective quality of the stone surface and the matte finish of the metal stool frames.

Ideal for open-plan living areas, luxury apartments, and boutique hospitality projects, this island functions as a central social hub or breakfast bar. It pairs effectively with contemporary kitchen cabinetry, neutral wall palettes, and minimalist pendant lighting. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying compact kitchen seating solutions or adding character to a kitchen island design. It is particularly useful during the concept development and final rendering stages of high-end residential kitchen design projects.
