About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair set features a grey textured fabric seat with a contrasting black shell and a matching side table. This set comprises an upholstered armchair and a cylindrical side table. The armchair features an organic, curved silhouette with a seat and backrest finished in a grey, multi-tonal textured fabric. A distinct black outer shell wraps around the arms and back, providing a sleek contrast to the soft upholstery. The chair is supported by thin, dark wooden legs. Accompanying the piece is a matching dark wood side table with a faceted, geometric body, providing a stable surface for the included decorative vase and diffuser accessories shown in the scene.

The download is a 27.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this set directly into 3ds Max scenes as a grouped asset. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy separation of the chair and table if required. Materials are applied using standard slots, facilitating quick adjustments to the fabric texture or wood finish. For optimal results, ensure the pivot point is set to the floor plane before placement, and adjust lighting to highlight the depth of the textured fabric and the matte finish of the wooden elements.

This armchair set is ideal for contemporary living room layouts, hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks in residential projects. The compact footprint makes it a versatile choice for filling awkward corners or creating a focal point in a master bedroom suite. Designers often pair this with minimalist floor lamps or area rugs to complete the composition. Search terms such as lounge seating, accent chair, modern furniture set, or interior decor assets will help locate this piece within a broader library of project components.
