Charcoal Wood Kitchen Island with Sink

This contemporary SketchUp kitchen island features a dark charcoal wood finish and an integrated sink with a metallic faucet. Defined by its monolithic, sculptural form, this kitchen island is finished in a heavily textured charcoal-toned wood veneer. The design features a recessed base on one side, creating a cantilevered section intended for seating. A flush-mounted rectangular sink is positioned at one end, complemented by a slim, arched faucet in a metallic finish. The overall proportions suggest a wide, low-profile footprint, making it suitable for open-plan living spaces where the kitchen transitions into dining or lounge areas. Minimalist in intent, the piece avoids visible hardware, focusing instead on the tactile quality of the wood grain.

The download is a 64.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a clean component, facilitating easy placement and alignment with existing floor plans. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly against their project dimensions upon insertion. The material mapping is applied to the main geometry, allowing for simple texture replacement or adjustment within the materials tray. Layers are organized logically to allow for the separation of the island base from the sink and faucet fixtures, which is essential for managing complex scene geometry and rendering performance.
