About this asset

This modern children bedroom scene for SketchUp features a custom house-shaped headboard, integrated joinery, and a window seat. Designed for a contemporary children bedroom, this scene centres on a bespoke floor-to-ceiling storage unit with an integrated house-shaped niche that frames the bed. The cabinetry is finished in a clean, neutral grey, complemented by warm wood accents within the shelving and window seat. A low-profile bed base is dressed with layered linens in soft blush and charcoal tones, creating a balanced, calm aesthetic. The inclusion of a dedicated window bench with built-in storage drawers maximises the floor plan, while the playful cloud wall decal adds a subtle thematic touch appropriate for a youth environment.

The download is a 105 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a pre-assembled SketchUp scene, this file is structured for immediate integration into your project workflow. Users can navigate the space directly, adjusting camera angles or focal lengths to suit specific interior renders. The geometry is organised by component, allowing for the easy isolation of individual furniture items, such as the bed or joinery units, for reuse in other files. Material textures are applied to native SketchUp faces, enabling quick edits to colour palettes or finishes through the standard materials editor before rendering.

This scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly when visualising children bedrooms or small-space nursery designs. It serves as a high-quality reference for bespoke joinery details, demonstrating effective storage solutions and space-saving furniture layouts. Professionals can use this model to quickly populate residential floor plans, providing a realistic look and feel for clients. It pairs well with minimalist and modern design schemes, offering a versatile base that can be easily customised for various room sizes or specific client requirements.
