About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair set features two brown velvet armchairs paired with a sculptural white side table. This furniture set comprises two low-profile lounge chairs and a central accent table. The armchairs are upholstered in a deep brown velvet, featuring a wrap-around backrest supported by a curved, metallic gold-finish frame. The base is a circular, low-profile disc. Positioned between the chairs is a sculptural side table with a white, organic, hollow-form base and a circular top. The set offers a cohesive aesthetic suitable for structured seating arrangements, with the chairs providing a soft, tactile contrast to the rigid, geometric metal framing and the smooth, monolithic table design.

The download is a 24.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this model directly into 3ds Max scenes as a grouped asset for rapid interior styling. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy material adjustments or texture mapping modifications on the velvet and metal surfaces. Best practice involves placing the set as a focal point in a lounge or lobby area, adjusting the lighting setup to catch the highlights on the metallic frames and the subtle sheen of the velvet fabric to enhance realism in final renders.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive waiting areas, this set functions well as a conversation cluster. It pairs effectively with minimalist or contemporary interior schemes where a touch of warmth and texture is required. Professionals often search for 'lounge seating sets', 'luxury armchair clusters', or 'modern accent furniture' when specifying pieces for high-end projects. The set is particularly useful for filling dead space in open-plan layouts or creating intimate seating zones within larger, more expansive architectural interiors.
