About this asset

This modern kids room SketchUp scene features a custom light wood play-house structure with an integrated slide and ball pit. Designed for a contemporary children's bedroom, this scene focuses on bespoke joinery that serves both functional and recreational purposes. A central play structure, finished in light wood, includes a staircase leading to an elevated platform, connected to a smooth orange-toned slide that terminates in a small ball pit. The wall behind the bed is treated with a large-scale decorative paneling system mimicking a cityscape silhouette, rendered in white and natural wood tones. The bed itself is a minimalist platform design, complemented by a simple, clean aesthetic throughout the room.

The download is a 72.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene into your project, ensure your model units match the native file scale before importing. The scene is structured with logical grouping, allowing for easy adjustment of individual elements like the bed or the play structure. Use the native material editor to tweak wood textures or fabric shaders to better match your specific project lighting. If rendering, consider replacing generic light sources with your preferred IES profiles or HDRI maps to achieve realistic interior illumination.
