Modern Grey Contemporary Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This modern grey contemporary open-plan living room scene for 3ds Max features a channel-tufted sofa and marble coffee table. Defined by a sophisticated neutral palette, this interior scene showcases a channel-tufted sofa in soft grey fabric, paired with a low-profile coffee table featuring a marble top and dark base. The flooring is a classic herringbone-patterned timber, which provides warmth against the cool-toned wall panels and black-framed glass partitions. A sculptural lounge chair with a plush seat adds textural variety, while bold monochromatic wall art anchors the space. The layout includes integrated lighting and a view into a secondary bedroom, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic through clean lines, high-quality finishes, and balanced proportions throughout the entire composition.

The download is a 821 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilising this scene requires managing the asset as a complete project file within 3ds Max. Professionals should inspect the layer structure to isolate individual furniture components for potential reuse in other projects. The materials and lighting setups are pre-configured for immediate rendering, though users may need to adjust the HDRI or exposure settings to match specific project requirements. Ensure all texture paths are correctly re-linked upon initial file opening to maintain the integrity of the high-quality surface finishes and reflections.
