Mid-Century Natural Wood Dining Set with Rattan Chairs

This mid-century dining set for 3ds Max features a natural wood trestle table and four rattan-backed chairs with brown leather seats. This dining ensemble captures a distinct mid-century aesthetic, characterised by clean, sculptural lines and organic material textures. The central dining table features a robust trestle-style base with arched supports, finished in a warm-toned natural wood grain. Accompanying the table are four chairs, each showcasing a signature V-shaped leg profile and a woven rattan backrest. The seats are upholstered in a dark brown leather, providing a subtle contrast to the timber frame. The set is presented with a decorative centerpiece, adding a touch of realism to the composition.

The download is a 74.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units are calibrated for accurate scaling before merging. The geometry is organised by object, allowing for individual material assignment or texture adjustments on the leather and timber components. Use standard object snapping to align the chairs to the table perimeter. For optimal results, apply a high-resolution wood grain texture map to the table surface and utilize the existing UV unwrapping to maintain consistent grain direction across the arched supports.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel interiors, or curated restaurant visualizations, this set complements various design styles, from organic modern to refined mid-century. It pairs effectively with minimalist sideboards, contemporary pendant lighting, and neutral-toned area rugs. Professionals searching for timber-based dining furniture, rattan-detailed seating, or character-driven dining room assets will find this model well-suited for both daylight-filled interior renders and moody, atmospheric staging. It serves as a strong focal point in open-plan living areas or intimate breakfast nooks.
