Indochine Dark Wood Altar Room Scene

This Indochine-style altar room SketchUp scene features intricate dark wood panelling, a central altar table, and backlit lotus-themed glass panels. Designed with a traditional Indochine aesthetic, this interior scene centres on a masterfully crafted wooden altar table set against a backdrop of detailed, carved timber wall panelling. The composition includes twin vertical glass panels depicting lotus flowers, which provide a warm, diffused yellow glow behind the primary prayer station. Ornate fretwork adorns the upper doorway, while the floor is finished in a rich, warm wood parquet. Every element, from the small side stools to the central lotus wall motif, maintains a cohesive, dark-toned, and highly detailed traditional atmosphere suitable for high-end residential or boutique hotel projects.

The download is a 236 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working with this SketchUp scene, maintain the organisational hierarchy by utilizing layers to toggle between the structural panelling and decorative props. The materials are pre-mapped, allowing for quick adjustments to wood grain orientation or glass transparency settings. Ensure that lighting intensity for the backlit lotus panels is balanced against the ambient environment to achieve the desired mood. Professionals should use the scene as a base for customising religious or meditative spaces, scaling individual furniture components to fit specific room dimensions as required.
