Grey Contemporary Open-Plan Living and Dining Room Scene

This contemporary open-plan living and dining room SketchUp scene features a sophisticated neutral palette and floor-to-ceiling glazing. This comprehensive interior scene captures a high-end open-plan living and dining area designed with a contemporary aesthetic. The space is anchored by a large, modular grey fabric sofa set, complemented by a low-profile coffee table and a textured area rug. Beyond the lounge, a dining area integrates seamlessly, featuring minimalist chairs and a sleek table. The architecture is defined by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that invite natural light, paired with recessed ceiling lighting and a striking gold-toned ring chandelier. The material palette balances soft textiles, rich timber accents, and metallic finishes, creating a refined, cohesive residential environment.

The download is a 452 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can leverage this SketchUp scene as a foundational template for high-end residential interior visualisations. The file includes pre-configured geometry, furniture arrangements, and lighting setups, allowing designers to quickly swap materials or adjust camera angles for specific project needs. To optimise performance, manage the model using layers to isolate furniture sets from architectural elements. The lighting setup is designed to be easily editable; simply adjust the intensity of the recessed lights or the HDRI environment settings to match your desired time of day.
