Contemporary Open-Plan Living Room and Kitchen Scene in Brown

This contemporary open-plan living room and kitchen SketchUp scene features a sophisticated palette of grey, brown, and marble. Defined by a refined contemporary aesthetic, this open-plan interior integrates a fully equipped kitchen with a marble-topped island and a spacious living area. The layout features a large L-shaped sectional sofa in textured grey fabric, paired with a dark leather-tufted ottoman and a low-profile coffee table. Herringbone wood flooring runs throughout the space, providing a warm contrast to the cooler tones of the kitchen cabinetry and soft furnishings. The design includes layered lighting, with modern pendant fixtures over the island and recessed ceiling details that add depth and character to the open floor plan.

The download is a 299 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational model for residential interior design projects. The file is structured to allow for easy camera placement and lighting adjustments within the native environment. Users should inspect the component hierarchy to manage layers effectively, ensuring textures and materials are mapped correctly for subsequent rendering passes. Scaling the scene to match specific room dimensions is recommended before populating the space with additional bespoke furniture or adjusting the existing lighting setup to suit specific site conditions.
