Contemporary Neutral Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This contemporary open-plan living room scene for SketchUp features a leather sectional sofa, marble kitchen island, and custom timber shelving. The composition centres on a spacious open-plan layout, integrating a living area with a minimalist kitchen and dining zone. Key elements include a black leather L-shaped sofa, a low-profile coffee table with a glass insert, and a floor-to-ceiling timber room divider. The kitchen features a marble-clad island and handleless cabinetry in a dark grey finish. A large indoor tree in a concrete planter provides a focal point, while the staircase features a metal balustrade. The palette balances neutral beige walls with dark leather and warm wood tones, creating a cohesive, sophisticated domestic environment.

The download is a 160 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp file as a foundational base for residential interior visualisations. The model is structured to allow for easy adjustment of lighting, material mapping, and furniture placement. Users should manage the scene using layers to isolate the structural elements from the decor and furniture assets. Scaling and modifying the geometry to fit specific project dimensions is straightforward, providing a solid starting point for developing high-quality architectural renders or detailed interior design presentations within the SketchUp environment.
