Contemporary Living Room Scene with Modular Furniture

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features multiple modular furniture configurations, curated wall panelling, and soft furnishings. Comprising several distinct furniture arrangements, this scene showcases a sophisticated interior design approach. The layouts include varied modular sofa configurations in fabric upholstery, paired with circular and rectangular coffee tables featuring marble and wood surfaces. Wall treatments are integral to the design, utilizing vertical timber slats, marble cladding, and neutral-toned panelling to define the space. Each arrangement incorporates decorative elements such as floor lamps, artwork, and textured rugs that ground the furniture groupings. The lighting strategy highlights the clean lines and material contrasts, creating a cohesive, high-end residential aesthetic across all variations.

The download is a 593 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can leverage this SketchUp scene by navigating through the pre-configured views to study spatial relationships or by extracting individual components for use in other projects. Best practice involves checking layer organization to isolate furniture elements, lighting fixtures, and structural wall panels. Materials are applied as standard textures; users can easily swap these or adjust opacity and bump settings to suit specific rendering requirements. Scaling the entire scene ensures alignment with project-specific floor plans, and the modular nature of the assets facilitates quick layout iterations.
