Contemporary Japanese Tea Room Interior Scene

This contemporary Japanese tea room interior scene for SketchUp features a striking stone-based table and minimalist wall shelving. The composition centres on a distinctive dining table supported by two raw, monolithic stone bases, topped with a polished dark stone surface. Two cylindrical, stepped-profile stools in a matte charcoal finish accompany the table. Behind, a floor-to-ceiling metal shelving unit with slim vertical dividers provides a rhythmic backdrop, interspersed with a solid dark grey panel that conceals a vertical illuminated display niche. The neutral palette blends light beige textured walls with warm timber flooring, while a large-scale landscape artwork and a sculptural floor lamp complete the serene, balanced aesthetic of this curated space.

The download is a 19.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene, import the model into your project file and ensure the layers are correctly mapped to your existing project structure. The geometry is organised for efficient editing, allowing users to isolate individual furniture assets or adjust the lighting setup within the native environment. Apply high-resolution textures to the stone and timber surfaces to enhance realism during rendering, and utilise the existing camera angle as a starting point for developing your own interior perspectives and walkthrough animations.
