About this asset

This contemporary bedroom interior scene for SketchUp features a textured grey plaster finish and a warm, minimalist aesthetic. Defined by its tactile materiality, this bedroom interior scene centres on a low-profile upholstered bed framed by a curved, textured plaster wall. The headboard area incorporates vertical timber panelling, providing a warm contrast to the cool grey render of the surrounding envelope. Two distinct side tables—one pedestal-style and one cylindrical fluted design—flank the bed, while a sleek pendant light hangs on one side. The room is grounded by a large, dark-toned rug, with soft, flowing curtains framing the window, creating a serene, balanced composition that prioritises texture and clean, modern lines throughout the space.

The download is a 219 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can open this SketchUp scene to study the composition of lighting, material mapping, and spatial arrangement. The file is structured to allow for easy modification of the geometry or the swapping of individual furniture components to suit specific project requirements. It is ideal for testing camera angles, exploring daylighting setups, or as a base for customising high-end residential master suites. Ensure all textures are correctly re-linked upon opening to maintain the integrity of the plaster and fabric material shaders.

This asset is suited for residential interior design projects, particularly for high-end master bedrooms or luxury boutique hotel suites. The neutral, sophisticated palette integrates seamlessly into contemporary or minimalist design concepts. Professionals can use this scene to communicate design intent during client presentations or to establish a mood for architectural visualisations. It pairs well with other neutral-toned furnishings, natural timber accents, and soft, indirect lighting schemes, making it a reliable starting point for developing refined, serene sleeping environments.
