Contemporary Grey and Black Open-Plan Apartment Scene

This contemporary open-plan apartment scene is a fully furnished SketchUp model featuring a monochromatic living and kitchen area. This comprehensive interior scene captures a refined open-plan layout, balancing deep charcoal cabinetry with soft grey textiles. The kitchen is anchored by a substantial island with fluted detailing and a contrasting stone countertop, complemented by minimalist bar stools with wood seats. Adjacent, the dining area features a sleek black table and chairs, illuminated by a linear pendant light. In the foreground, a plush grey sofa adorned with a plaid throw establishes a comfortable lounge zone. The material palette is intentionally restrained, relying on the interplay of matte black finishes, light timber flooring, and clean stone surfaces.

The download is a 648 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can integrate this scene directly into SketchUp workflows as a base for interior visualisations. The file is structured to allow for easy camera positioning and lighting adjustments. Geometry is grouped logically, enabling quick material swapping or asset replacement. To optimise performance, manage the high-poly components using layers or tags, and consider applying custom render materials to the surfaces for improved realism in external engines. The scene serves as a ready-to-render foundation for rapid interior design development and client presentations.
