Contemporary Dark Bedroom Scene with Leather Bed

This contemporary bedroom scene for SketchUp features a leather bed and dark wall panelling in a moody, sophisticated aesthetic. Centred around a substantial leather-upholstered bed, this bedroom scene defines a dark, contemporary aesthetic. The headboard wall features vertical fluted panelling in matte black, accented by recessed linear lighting and a lower concrete-textured shelf. The floor is laid in a warm-toned herringbone timber, contrasting with the dark walls. A leather rocking chair sits to the left, while a grey upholstered ottoman provides additional seating at the foot of the bed. Minimalist pendant lights and integrated track lighting complete the composition, creating a balanced, high-contrast environment suitable for high-end residential or luxury hotel master suites.

The download is a 184 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational layout for interior visualisations. The model is structured with distinct layers, allowing for the easy isolation of furniture, lighting fixtures, and architectural elements. Users should check the component hierarchy upon opening to manage geometry effectively. Textures for the leather and wood flooring are mapped and ready for export to external render engines. Adjusting the scene lighting involves managing the native light groups, which can be toggled to refine the mood before final rendering.
