Contemporary Blue Velvet Sofa Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room SketchUp scene features a bold blue velvet sofa paired with warm wood accents and rattan textures. Centred around a deep blue velvet sofa with plush cushions, this living room scene balances vibrant upholstery with natural materials. A large, low-profile square coffee table in a dark wood finish sits atop a patterned grey rug. To the side, a minimalist rattan-backed chair introduces organic texture, complemented by a solid wood side table and a simple rounded lamp. The arrangement is clean and balanced, providing a cohesive layout suitable for immediate integration into larger architectural visualisations. Every element, from the wood grain to the fabric folds, is carefully placed to simulate a realistic residential space.

The download is a 291 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational block for residential interior projects. The file is structured to allow for easy camera positioning and quick material adjustments. Users should check the layer organisation upon import to manage visibility of individual furniture pieces or lighting elements. Given the scale of the scene, it is best to use it as a reference for spatial planning or as a base for custom rendering setups, ensuring textures are mapped correctly to the native geometry.

This scene is ideal for residential design proposals, particularly for living rooms where a modern yet warm aesthetic is required. It pairs well with neutral interior palettes, helping to anchor a space with its strong blue focal point. Designers often search for such complete sets to populate high-end apartment renders or luxury home visuals during the concept development stage. The mix of velvet, rattan, and wood makes it highly versatile for various contemporary design schemes, including those focusing on tactile, layered interiors.
