About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a deep blue velvet sectional sofa against a textured beige feature wall. Centred around a vibrant blue velvet L-shaped sectional, this living room scene balances bold colour with refined materials. A low-profile coffee table with a white marble top and gold-finished base grounds the seating area, accompanied by a small round side table. The backdrop consists of a floor-to-ceiling feature wall with vertical panelling in a neutral beige tone. Large sliding glass doors provide natural light, framed by deep blue curtains that echo the sofa's palette. A geometric area rug ties the composition together, while subtle ceiling coving adds architectural depth to the space.

The download is a 92.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Integrate this SketchUp scene by merging it into your master project file or using it as a standalone base for interior studies. The geometry is organised by layers, allowing for easy toggling of furniture components. Materials are pre-applied, though you may need to relink textures depending on your local file structure. Adjust the camera field of view to capture specific vignettes, and use proxy objects for high-poly elements to maintain viewport performance during the final stages of scene composition and lighting setup.

Ideal for residential interior design presentations, this scene serves as a high-quality starting point for luxury apartment or townhouse projects. It works effectively for demonstrating colour blocking and material contrast in living areas. Professionals can use this setup to quickly populate client visuals, pairing it with additional accent lighting or bespoke joinery.
