Contemporary Blue and Wood Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This contemporary open-plan living room and kitchen scene for 3ds Max features a striking blue staircase and warm wood accents. This comprehensive interior scene captures a modern open-plan living area connected to a kitchen, defined by a palette of rich walnut-brown timber, clean white textiles, and bold blue structural elements. The living space is anchored by a large, deep-seated white sofa, complemented by a layered, geometric coffee table and a textured rug. A prominent blue staircase rises to the side, while the background features a kitchen with integrated appliances and a decorative tiled alcove. Every element, from the lighting fixtures to the wall art, is arranged to create a balanced, high-end residential atmosphere.

The download is a 190 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this scene into a 3ds Max project, users should import the file and check the layer structure to manage visibility of individual furniture sets or architectural elements. The scene is pre-configured with lighting and materials, allowing for immediate camera placement and viewport adjustments. Professionals should verify texture paths upon loading to ensure all maps are correctly linked, then refine the global illumination settings to match specific project requirements for final rendering.

Ideal for residential architectural visualisations, this scene serves as a complete foundation for high-end interior design presentations. It is particularly effective for showcasing open-plan living arrangements in modern apartments or houses. Professionals can use this asset to quickly populate client proposals or as a baseline for customising kitchen and lounge configurations. Search for this in projects involving contemporary residential design, luxury home styling, or when visualising spatial flow between communal living areas and circulation zones like feature staircases.
