About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max ceiling fan features three sculpted walnut wood blades and a minimalist central housing for modern interiors. Designed with a focus on organic geometry, this ceiling fan consists of a central motor housing and three aerodynamically curved blades finished in a rich walnut wood veneer. The assembly is suspended from a simple, clean-lined downrod connected to a tapered ceiling canopy. The blade design prioritises a fluid, continuous form that transitions seamlessly from the hub, creating a sculptural silhouette rather than a traditional mechanical aesthetic. The warm wood grain texture provides a natural contrast to the precise, minimalist proportions of the fixture, making it suitable for high-end residential and hospitality environments.

The download is a 9.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with clean geometry for efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the height of the downrod to suit specific ceiling drops or integrate it into a larger reflected ceiling plan. The wood texture is mapped to take advantage of standard material editors, allowing for easy adjustment of glossiness or reflection values to match the specific lighting conditions of a project. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned for any desired rotation animation within the scene.

This fan is ideal for living rooms, master bedrooms, and covered patios where a sophisticated, non-industrial aesthetic is required. It pairs well with mid-century modern or contemporary interior styles, complementing natural timber finishes or neutral palettes. Professionals should search for this item when specifying ceiling-mounted climate control solutions that double as decorative focal points. It is particularly effective in projects aiming for a warm, organic feel, such as boutique hotels or residential renovations where standard white plastic fans would disrupt the design.
