About this asset

This white wood house-style kids bed with integrated play set for 3ds Max features a playful frame design and functional base storage. Designed for a child’s bedroom, this house-style bed frame is finished in a clean white, featuring a slatted safety rail and two under-bed storage drawers. The set includes a vertical climbing ladder and hanging gymnastic rings, creating an interactive play area. Three cloud-shaped pendant lights are included in the scene, enhancing the whimsical aesthetic. The bed base is low-profile, making it suitable for toddlers or young children. Soft textiles including patterned bedding and decorative cushions complement the structural timber elements, providing a cohesive and functional furniture assembly for a themed interior space.

The download is a 49 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a project, ensure the pivot point is set to the floor level for easy placement within the scene. The bed, climbing frame, and light fixtures are grouped for convenient manipulation, though individual elements can be detached to adjust the layout. Use the native material editor to apply custom fabric textures to the bedding or to modify the wood finish to better suit the project's specific palette. Check the scale against standard room heights to ensure proper proportions.

This set is ideal for contemporary residential projects, particularly in nursery designs, children’s bedrooms, or playrooms. It works well in projects focusing on Montessori-inspired interiors or playful, scandinavian-style spaces. Designers often search for house-style beds, kids bedroom furniture, or integrated play furniture when specifying pieces for family-oriented developments. It pairs effectively with neutral wall colours, soft area rugs, and whimsical decor, serving as a focal point that combines sleeping and active play areas in a single, space-saving furniture unit.
