About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a circular wicker seat frame supported by a minimalist white-finished metal base. Designed with a distinct circular silhouette, this lounge chair combines a woven wicker seat with a slender, angled metal frame. The seat shell is shallow and wide, providing an open, airy appearance suitable for relaxed seating arrangements. The supporting structure consists of four thin, splayed metal legs that provide stability while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive profile. The monochromatic white finish unifies the contrasting textures of the woven seat and the smooth metal base, creating a cohesive piece that works well in both interior and exterior environments where a light, modern aesthetic is required.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, utilize the existing pivot point at the base of the legs for precise placement on floor planes. Ensure the scale is verified against standard ergonomic seating heights before final placement. The geometry is clean, allowing for the application of high-resolution textures or procedural materials to the wicker and metal components. Consider using an HDRI environment map to accurately capture the reflections on the metal frame and the subtle shadows cast by the woven seat pattern.

This lounge chair is an excellent choice for casual seating areas in residential projects, such as sunrooms, patios, or contemporary living rooms. It also performs well in hospitality settings like hotel lounges, cafe terraces, or boutique waiting areas. Designers looking for lightweight, visually permeable seating often specify this style to maintain an open floor plan. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or as a standalone accent piece in a quiet corner, providing a versatile option for various modern interior and outdoor design schemes.
