About this asset

This modern white vertical blind SketchUp model features clean, uniform slats ideal for contemporary office or residential windows. This window treatment consists of a series of vertical fabric slats suspended from a slim, minimalist metal headrail. The design is utilitarian and clean, focusing on light control and privacy for large window apertures. Each slat hangs straight, providing a rhythmic, linear aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into modern architectural interiors. The white finish ensures a neutral appearance suitable for various colour palettes, while the simple geometry allows for easy scaling to fit specific window widths and heights. This model is a functional component designed to provide realistic depth and light diffusion in architectural visualisations.

The download is a 6.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this model into SketchUp, import the file and use the scale tool to adjust the width and height to match your specific window opening. Ensure the headrail is aligned with the top of the window frame. Use the component properties to manage the orientation of the slats if needed. Applying a translucent material to the slats can help simulate the light-filtering properties of fabric in your render engine of choice, enhancing the overall realism of the scene.

These blinds are highly effective in professional office settings, meeting rooms, and modern residential living areas where clean lines and light regulation are paramount. They pair well with minimalist interior styles, providing a structured look that contrasts with soft furnishings. Professionals typically search for these when specifying window coverings for commercial floor plans, open-plan workspaces, or high-rise apartment projects. The neutral design ensures they remain a versatile asset for any project requiring functional, unobtrusive window treatments that maintain a professional, tidy appearance.
