About this asset

This white minimalist kids shelving unit, modelled for 3ds Max, features a blend of open display compartments and lower storage drawers. Constructed with a clean, white finish, this upright storage unit serves as a versatile piece for children's bedrooms or playrooms. The upper section comprises two cabinet doors with vertical fluted detailing, while the central area offers an asymmetrical arrangement of open cubbies for toys and books. A circular recessed niche adds a distinct visual feature to the shelving grid. The base includes six compact drawers, each fitted with small, minimalist pulls. The overall geometry is linear and functional, providing a balanced mix of hidden and accessible storage solutions for a tidy, organized interior space.

The download is a 28.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical grouping for easy manipulation of individual components. Users can adjust the material settings or assign custom textures to the surfaces to match specific project colour palettes. The model is scaled for standard residential heights and can be integrated into a scene by merging the file into the project workspace. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within floor plans during the layout stage.

Ideal for residential projects, this piece fits perfectly into modern nursery designs, children's bedrooms, or playrooms. It works well when paired with soft textiles, patterned rugs, and light-toned timber furniture. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying child-friendly storage that balances aesthetics with functional utility. It is suitable for early-stage conceptual renders and final interior visualisations where a clean, contemporary look is required to complement a light, airy colour scheme in a domestic setting.
