About this asset

This SketchUp dining set features a light wood rectangular table and four matching rattan-back chairs, ideal for minimalist interiors. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a clean-lined, light-toned wood finish and four matching armchairs. The chairs feature a distinct Scandi aesthetic, characterized by curved backrests with integrated rattan panels and a light wood frame that complements the table surface. The set is presented on a textured, round jute rug, providing a natural contrast to the smooth, pale wood surfaces. A small decorative vase with dried grass sits centrally on the table, completing the composition. The proportions are balanced, suitable for compact dining areas or informal breakfast nooks.

The download is an 8.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this set is organized as a collection of components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a floor plan. The wood and rattan materials are applied as high-resolution textures, which can be adjusted via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions or scene requirements. Users should check the model scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with the project's millimetre or inch units, then group the assembly for easier manipulation or layer management during the design development phase.

This versatile dining arrangement is well-suited for residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-diners, and boutique cafe interiors. Its light, neutral palette makes it an excellent choice for projects requiring a bright, airy aesthetic, such as beach-inspired homes or contemporary minimalist apartments. Professionals searching for a coordinated set to populate a rendering will find this model effective for staging. It pairs naturally with light oak flooring, white-washed walls, and soft, organic textiles to achieve a cohesive, modern look in various interior design schemes.
