About this asset

This contemporary white fabric window curtain for SketchUp features elegant floor-length pleats and integrated tie-backs. This window treatment consists of a pair of floor-length curtains finished in a clean white fabric. The model features deep, vertical pleats that create natural-looking folds and shadows, suggesting a soft, weighted textile. The curtains are pulled back and secured with matching tie-backs on either side, exposing the central section. The geometry is designed to drape naturally from a concealed rod, providing a realistic appearance for interior visualisations. The proportions are balanced, making this an ideal asset for adding warmth and softness to rendered interior spaces without requiring complex geometry.

The download is a 2.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by placing it as a component within your window assembly. Users can scale the width to fit specific window frames, though care should be taken to maintain the integrity of the pleats. The fabric material can be easily replaced or adjusted in the materials editor to match specific project colour palettes. For high-quality renders, ensure the back-faces are correctly oriented and consider applying a translucent material setting to simulate light diffusion through the fabric.
