White Fabric Curtains with Decorative Tassel Tie-Back

These white fabric curtains for SketchUp feature a soft drape and a decorative tassel tie-back for a polished interior look. These contemporary curtains are rendered with a soft, matte fabric texture, featuring a classic gathered drape that suggests a lightweight, flowing material. The panels are neatly pulled to the centre and secured with a matching fabric tassel tie-back, creating a symmetrical, elegant silhouette. The geometry captures the natural folds and tension points of fabric under gravity, providing a realistic sense of weight and movement. The design is clean and minimalist, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior styles without dominating the visual space or clashing with existing architectural elements.

The download is a 17 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp model, use the component scaling tool to adjust the height to match your specific window or opening dimensions. Ensure the curtains are placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during the design process. If applying custom textures or materials, check the UV mapping to maintain the natural flow of the fabric folds. For final visualisations, applying a soft transparency or translucency setting to the material can help achieve a more convincing light-filtering effect in your render.

Ideal for residential projects such as bedrooms, living rooms, and formal dining areas, these curtains add a layer of softness to hard-surfaced interiors. They work well in hotel suite visualisations or luxury apartment staging, where a refined, finished look is required. Designers searching for window dressing, drapes, or soft furnishings will find this asset versatile for various daylighting studies. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, providing a necessary textural contrast to clean lines and hard materials like glass, metal, and polished wood.
