About this asset

This contemporary entryway shoe cabinet 3ds Max model features a white louvred-door storage unit paired with an integrated bench. This multifunctional entryway storage system combines tall vertical cabinetry with a lower seating bench. The cabinet carcass is finished in a warm natural wood tone, contrasting with the crisp white, louvred-style doors that provide a textured, ventilated aesthetic. The unit includes a recessed open shelf section for quick-access items and a dedicated bench seat upholstered in a neutral quilted fabric. Small, circular hardware details adorn the doors and drawers throughout. The composition is structured to provide both closed storage and a comfortable space for changing shoes, making it a highly efficient piece for compact circulation areas.

The download is a 21.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the layer manager to separate the cabinet carcass, door geometry, and bench upholstery for efficient material assignment. The louvred textures are best managed via high-resolution diffuse and bump maps to maintain visual depth at close range. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the base for easy placement against walls, and use standard architectural lighting to highlight the contrast between the wood grain and the white-painted door panels.

This storage unit is designed for residential hallways, mudrooms, and compact entryway transitions where vertical space is at a premium. It serves as a focal point for interior design projects focusing on clean, functional storage solutions. Professionals might search for this as an entryway organiser, hall unit, or mudroom bench. It pairs well with minimalist coat hooks or wall-mounted mirrors and is suitable for projects ranging from modern apartment renovations to family-oriented suburban homes requiring organised footwear storage and seating.
