About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of an astronaut figurine features a white suit, gold accents, and a sleek black conical pedestal base. This decorative figurine depicts a stylized astronaut in a dynamic pose, balancing on one leg while holding a thin, rod-like accessory. The design combines a glossy white finish on the suit with reflective metallic gold detailing on the helmet visor, gloves, and footwear. The figure is mounted atop a simple, solid black conical pedestal, providing a stable foundation and a sharp contrast to the lighter upper elements. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for placement on shelving or surfaces where a whimsical, space-themed accent is required to break up formal compositions.

The download is a 3.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a single, consolidated object, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the pedestal for straightforward alignment with surfaces. Given the reflective nature of the gold materials, ensure that the scene lighting includes adequate environment maps or local lights to capture the intended specular highlights. The model is scaled for standard tabletop use; however, it can be adjusted in the transform panel to suit specific interior requirements.

This astronaut sculpture is ideal for adding character to modern living rooms, home offices, or children's bedrooms. It works well when styled on bookshelves, console tables, or study desks, pairing effectively with minimalist or contemporary furniture arrangements.
