About this asset

This weathered off-white plastic gallon jug 3D model features a realistic integrated handle and worn surface details for scene dressing. This utilitarian gallon jug features a robust, moulded plastic construction with an integrated top-mounted handle. The surface is finished in an off-white tone, heavily distressed with realistic signs of wear including scuffs, grime accumulation, and rust-coloured staining near the base. The neck is detailed with visible threading, suggesting a missing cap. The overall form is rectangular with softened, rounded corners, reflecting typical industrial container geometry. This model captures the character of a long-used, weathered vessel, providing authentic visual texture suitable for detailed close-up rendering or background clutter in a busy environment.

The download is a 45.5 MB compressed archive with the model in BLEND, FBX and GLTF format.

When integrating this model, ensure the object is placed on a flat surface to ground the geometry correctly. The asset benefits from standard scene lighting to highlight the bump and displacement maps on the weathered plastic surface. Users should apply a neutral material override for preliminary composition, then enable the included texture maps to reveal the fine details of the scuffs and stains. Proper scaling is essential to maintain the realistic proportions of the container within the wider project file.

Ideal for adding authenticity to industrial, workshop, or garage scenes, this jug is a versatile prop for architectural visualisation projects. It sits naturally on shelving, workbenches, or concrete floors in storage areas, utility rooms, or back-of-house service corridors. Designers can use it to populate construction sites, shed interiors, or messy storage spaces to create a lived-in, realistic atmosphere. It pairs effectively with other industrial props like tools, crates, and machinery to enhance the narrative of a workspace or maintenance area.
