About this asset

This wabi-sabi 3ds Max scene features a live-edge wooden dining table and six chairs, complemented by organic wall decor and lighting. This dining set centers on a rectangular live-edge timber table displaying raw, irregular edges and deep brown grain patterns, supported by a substantial solid wood base. The seating comprises six minimalist wooden chairs with vertical spindle-back details and streamlined frames. The scene is curated with two pendant lights, a floor vase with dried foliage, and a collection of circular woven rattan wall plates. Each piece maintains an earthy, organic aesthetic, prioritizing natural textures and warm, muted tones that evoke a sense of quiet craftsmanship and connection to raw materials.

The download is a 97.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this scene is structured as a collection of grouped assets, allowing for easy selection and repositioning of individual chairs or decor elements. Users should check the layer hierarchy to toggle the wall structure or lighting components independently. The materials are mapped using standard coordinate systems, making it straightforward to adjust the wood grain scale or bump intensity. Ensure the scene scale is verified against the project units before merging into a larger interior floor plan for final rendering.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or organic-themed restaurant interiors, this set brings a grounded, artisanal atmosphere to visualisations. It pairs well with neutral plaster walls, limestone flooring, and soft, warm lighting setups. Architects and designers can utilize this model in project stages ranging from conceptual development to final presentation renders.
