Wabi-Sabi Natural Wood Dining Scene with Plaster Partition

This wabi-sabi dining scene for 3ds Max features a natural wood table, upholstered bench, and a textured plaster partition wall. This dining ensemble captures a wabi-sabi aesthetic through its organic material palette and relaxed proportions. The central feature is a curved-edge natural wood dining table paired with two modern timber-framed chairs with brown upholstered seats. An integrated bench provides additional seating along a substantial, textured plaster partition wall. The partition includes three recessed arched niches, each decorated with simple ceramic vessels. A tall potted plant adds a vertical element to the composition, softening the lines of the partition. The overall arrangement is cohesive, focusing on tactile surfaces and earthy, muted tones.

The download is a 16.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max scene into a project, treat the partition and furniture as a single grouped assembly to maintain their relative spatial relationships. Use the native material definitions as a base, adjusting texture maps to suit specific lighting conditions or render engine requirements. The scene is scaled for standard residential dining height, making it straightforward to drop into interior floor plans. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned with the floor plane for efficient placement within your architectural model.
