Wabi-Sabi Brown Metal Decorative Screen Scene

This wabi-sabi 3ds Max scene features a brown metal decorative screen set against a grey plaster arched wall with ceramic vessels. The composition comprises a stepped, geometric laser-cut metal screen finished in a deep, weathered brown tone. It is positioned alongside a monolithic grey plaster wall section that incorporates a large, smooth arched opening. The arrangement is completed by two rustic, dark-toned ceramic urns and a dried twisted branch, reinforcing the wabi-sabi aesthetic. The screen features a recurring pattern of voids, creating a semi-permeable barrier that plays with light and shadow. The entire assembly offers a cohesive, textured look suitable for high-end interior visualisations requiring a raw, organic, and artisanal atmosphere.

The download is a 135 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene can be merged directly into your project file. Ensure all texture paths are correctly re-linked to maintain the weathered metal and plaster finishes. The elements are grouped for easy placement; however, you can ungroup them to reposition the ceramic vessels or the screen independently. Use the scene as a base for creating sophisticated room dividers or focal wall features in your interior renders, adjusting the lighting to accentuate the depth of the laser-cut pattern.

This asset is ideal for residential lounge designs, boutique hotel lobbies, or spa waiting areas where a sense of calm and texture is required. It pairs well with minimalist concrete floors, linen upholstery, and soft, diffused architectural lighting.
