Contemporary Grey Geometric Pattern Rectangular Area Rug

This contemporary rectangular area rug is a high-quality SketchUp model featuring a detailed grey and white geometric lattice pattern. This rectangular floor covering features a sophisticated, repeating geometric trellis pattern rendered in a muted grey and off-white palette. The design exhibits a subtle, weathered texture, providing a soft, tactile appearance suitable for high-end interior visualizations. The edges are clean and well-defined, suggesting a low-pile construction that lies flat against the floor plane. Its neutral tones and balanced symmetry make it a versatile foundation piece for various contemporary or transitional living spaces, effectively grounding furniture arrangements while adding visual interest through its intricate, interconnected line work and soft tonal variations.

The download is a 6.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is best utilized as a flat, floor-mounted component. Users should ensure the rug is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility, particularly when toggling between different floor finishes or furniture layouts. The texture mapping is uniform, allowing for straightforward scaling to fit specific room dimensions. For optimal rendering results, ensure the geometry is slightly offset from the floor surface to prevent Z-fighting, and apply a subtle bump map to enhance the perceived depth of the woven texture.
