About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a pair of two-tone fabric curtains paired with horizontal venetian blinds for interior spaces. The set includes a floor-length curtain assembly and a separate horizontal slat blind unit. The curtains feature a layered design with solid-colour side panels in a deep red tone and a central section in a neutral off-white, both exhibiting soft, vertical folds that suggest a lightweight fabric construction. The accompanying venetian blinds are rendered with thin, horizontal slats, providing a clean, minimalist contrast to the draped textile elements. Both components are designed for standard window mounting, offering a complete solution for architectural visualisation projects requiring realistic window treatments and light control.

The download is a 23 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are best managed as separate components to allow for independent scaling and placement within a model. Users should utilise the native scaling tools to adjust the width and height to match specific window openings. Applying custom materials to the fabric panels can further refine the appearance, while the blinds can be positioned at varying heights to simulate different levels of privacy or daylight ingress within a scene.

These window treatments are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and professional office environments where light regulation and aesthetic layering are required. The neutral and deep red colour palette integrates well into contemporary and transitional interiors. Designers often specify such combinations to soften hard architectural lines while maintaining functional control over natural light. Search for these items when detailing interior elevations or interior design renders, specifically when looking for versatile, ready-to-use window coverings that provide both texture and practical utility.
