Tropical Event Backdrop and Plinth Scene

This tropical event backdrop and plinth scene for SketchUp features a botanical-print folding screen, tiered pedestals, and floral arrangements. This comprehensive event display set comprises a wide, segmented folding screen printed with a dense tropical foliage pattern in shades of blue and green. The arrangement is complemented by two fluted cylindrical plinths in a soft pink finish, a smaller marble-effect pedestal, and a slender gold-toned metal lighting rig with integrated globe lamps. The scene includes various curated floral displays featuring soft pink and white blossoms, dried grasses, and assorted greenery, along with a potted cactus. The elements are designed to work together as a cohesive focal point for event styling.

The download is a 140 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp scene by importing the entire group into your project file as a component. The assets are organised into distinct layers, allowing for easy separation of the backdrop from the individual display pedestals and decorative floral elements. Adjust the scale of the individual plinths to suit specific venue heights and use the native material editor to swap the backdrop fabric texture if a different colour palette is required for specific client branding or seasonal event themes.

This model is ideal for visualising event layouts, wedding styling, or retail display concepts. It serves as a practical asset for designers working in hospitality, event planning, or experiential design sectors. Use this set to populate renders for hotel lobby installations, exhibition stands, or gala dinner stages. It pairs effectively with modern event furniture and minimalist venue architecture, providing a vibrant, high-impact aesthetic for presentations where a tropical, celebratory atmosphere is desired.
