About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a tropical-style ceiling fan with organic rattan-textured blades and an integrated central light fixture. Designed with a distinct resort aesthetic, this ceiling fan features five wide, leaf-shaped blades finished in a natural brown rattan texture. The central housing is constructed from a metallic finish, supporting a compact, downward-facing light source. A clean white circular canopy mounts flush to the ceiling, connected by a slender dark downrod. The overall geometry blends functional cooling with decorative illumination, making it suitable for spaces requiring a soft, organic touch. The proportions are balanced to provide a wide sweep, ideal for residential living areas or hospitality suites where natural material palettes are preferred.

The download is a 22.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, allowing for easy separation of the fan blades and the light housing. The object is centred at the origin, facilitating precise placement on ceiling planes. Users should map the rattan texture to ensure correct grain orientation across the blades. The light component is set up as a distinct element, allowing for independent control of light intensity and colour temperature settings within the scene's rendering environment.

This ceiling fan is intended for residential projects, specifically living rooms, bedrooms, or covered outdoor patios where a relaxed, coastal atmosphere is desired. It pairs effectively with natural timber furniture, linen upholstery, and neutral interior palettes. Professionals searching for tropical lighting, resort-style fixtures, or organic ceiling fans will find this asset suitable for high-end residential or boutique hotel visualisations. It is best used in projects requiring a balance of cooling functionality and ambient light, adding a textured, architectural element to ceiling planes.
