About this asset

This traditional white painted wood bench for 3ds Max features a tufted upholstered seat, two bolster ends, and three square cushions. Designed with a classic aesthetic, this bench features a solid timber frame finished in a clean white paint. The base includes recessed panel detailing on the front face, providing a structured, formal appearance. The top is fitted with a deep, tufted upholstered cushion in a neutral beige fabric, offering a comfortable seating surface. Completing the design are two cylindrical bolster cushions at either end and three matching square scatter cushions along the back. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for hallways, bedrooms, or formal living areas requiring extra seating.

The download is a 13.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material management. The upholstery and timber components are separated, allowing for quick adjustments to shaders or textures to suit specific project palettes. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with the scene units. The cushions are modelled as distinct objects, enabling them to be repositioned or removed if a more minimalist look is desired for the final render.

This bench is an ideal addition to residential interior projects, particularly for entryways, bedrooms at the foot of a bed, or under window bays. It pairs effectively with traditional or transitional decor schemes. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for high-end homes or boutique hotels. It provides a functional yet decorative element that works well in formal seating arrangements, dressing areas, or mudrooms where a touch of elegance is required alongside practical storage or seating.
