Traditional Dark Wood Tall Standing Clock

This traditional dark wood standing clock is a 3ds Max model featuring a classic arched pediment and an exposed pendulum mechanism. Designed with a formal aesthetic, this tall standing clock features a dark-finished timber frame with traditional architectural detailing. The upper section houses a circular face with a green dial, set beneath an arched cornice. A central glass panel provides a clear view of the internal pendulum and weights, which are rendered in metallic tones. The base is supported by two distinct vertical legs, giving the piece an open, structured silhouette. Proportions are slender and elegant, suitable for placement in hallways, studies, or formal living areas where a statement piece of traditional furniture is required.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, import the geometry using the merge command to maintain layer integrity. The model is organised into logical parts, allowing for easy adjustment of material IDs if a different wood finish is needed. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement on floor planes. Apply standard architectural lighting to highlight the metallic pendulum and glass elements, ensuring reflections are correctly calculated for a realistic finish in your final interior render.
