About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a traditional dark wood altar cabinet with gold accents, an intricate lattice screen, and decorative ornaments. Constructed from dark-stained timber, this traditional altar cabinet features a vertical frame with an intricate open-work lattice design on the side panels and top canopy. The main unit includes a central drawer with circular gold hardware, mounted above a lower storage cabinet with subtle chevron-patterned door panels. A gold-finished circular emblem is mounted at the rear, serving as a backdrop for a collection of ritual items, including a central figure, small vessels, and tiered candle holders. The entire assembly is designed as a cohesive, structured piece for formal interior display.

The download is a 30.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is organised into logical groups for easy placement within a scene. Users can adjust the material parameters for the wood grain and metallic finishes to suit specific lighting environments. The model is provided with pivot points positioned at the base for efficient snapping to floor levels. Ensure that the scale is verified against project requirements before merging into a larger interior model, and utilise standard procedural shaders for the wood and brass elements to maintain rendering performance.
